I would like to invite you to be a part of the Beta Gamma Foundation’s Scholarship Gala which funds scholarships for deserving students at Cheyney University, America’s first Historically Black College and University (HBCU). This year’s event, on February 11th, 2023 will take place at the Philadelphia Airport Embassy Suites and marks our 11th Annual Scholarship Gala!

Since 2011 the Beta Gamma Foundation (BGF) has awarded scholarships and financial support to over 50 students and we hope to grow this number with your support! This prestigious occasion is a “Black Tie” event that typically hosts 300 plus people in attendance. This year’s theme is, “The Chucks and Tux’s Casino”. Our guests will be able to experience the excitement of casino games, a live band, and DJ with a chance of winning a variety of prizes in Black Tie Attire with Sneakers.

BGF was founded in 2011 by proud graduates of Cheyney University who are all distinguished members of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, initiated through the  Beta Gamma Chapter at the University. Realizing the growing financial needs of many students at our alma mater, BGF was formed to serve as a positive vehicle in helping students defray the costs of obtaining a quality education.
