Collaborative Dreaming includes sharing dreams with others, and dreaming with our ancestors and more than human relatives. An intuitive approach to dreaming that is rooted in the Ancestors, and Earth based wisdom. We engage this animist approach as a bridge to the other side, rooted in the tree of life, and guided by our wild instinctual nature, where animal spirits assist us to locate underworld journeys with the ancestors.Collaborative Dreaming opens us to recall our place among the community of beings in the World behind the World, and the Waking World. We bring balance between the worlds when we open our dreams to connect with the ancestors. The Ancestors dreamed each of us into being, and they dream with us still. Together we share dreams with Departed Loved ones and the Ancestors.
In this workshop, we invite the Ancestors into dreaming, as we enter an embodied lucid dream journey, guided by the drum. We set our intentions to connect with our Ancestral lands, and visit with ancestors and departed loved ones for the purpose of guidance and healing.
We collaborate to create a safe and sacred space for dreams to be honored and heard. Our sacred space is anchored in creating a community ancestral altar with elemental offerings, animal spirit tokens or talismans, family mementoes or photos, and favorite food or drink for departed loved ones.
Bring your dream journal, pen, a blanket to lay on, and a dream to share.
Arrive 15 minutes early to set your place in the circle and help create the ancestral altar.
