Welcome to The Amsterdam Storytelling Festival 2025! As it starts getting dark and cold outside, we come together yet again, to warm up our hearts with stories….
The theme of the eighteenth edition: The Fool.
The symbol of open beginnings, the leap into the unknown, and the power of naiveté. The Fool lives between worlds, where superficial truths break and a deeper layer reveals itself. In tarot, the Fool is the zero point: empty, available, full of possibilities. The Fool carries everything he needs in a small bag and walks carefree toward the abyss—not out of stupidity, but out of trust.
Dozens of artists from all over the world will come together and share their soul stirrings through storytelling, music, theater, and clowning. In addition to all these performances, there are also workshops and talks at Podium Mozaïek, which will be transformed into a welcoming salon for the occasion.
