Featuring the sweeping optimism of Aaron Copland, the picturesque landscapes of Ferde Grofé’s Mississippi Suite, the patriotic celebration of Sea to Shining Sea, beloved selections from Porgy and Bess, and the vibrant dances of Florence Price, this program explores the many voices that have defined American classical music.
