Every Button Holds a Story. Every Story Changed America.

Some buttons fastened the uniforms of Revolutionary soldiers. Others crossed battlefields in the French & Indian War, marched through the Civil War, or landed on the beaches of Normandy. Every one witnessed history.

This February 13–14, 2027, discover the stories behind those buttons at the 10th Annual American Heritage Festival, where history isn't confined to museum cases—it's brought to life on the very ground where it happened.

Hosted at historic Graham's Farm, the documented home of the legendary "Swamp Fox," Francis Marion, you'll journey through centuries of American courage, sacrifice, and perseverance as living historians recreate the defining moments that shaped our nation.

Follow the Button Through Time
Revolutionary Beginnings

Stand where Hugh Graham supplied Marion's Brigade and where twenty-three British prisoners were held following the Battle of Tearcoat Swamp. Walk the same fields where ordinary people made extraordinary history.

From Muskets to Machine Guns

Travel through generations of military history with immersive battle reenactments, live-fire demonstrations, authentic encampments, and interactive displays featuring the 2nd South Carolina Regiment, the Royal 33rd Regiment of Foot, and WWII's legendary 82nd Airborne.

NEW for 2027

Experience the dramatic Battle of Braddock's Defeat, one of the defining battles of the French & Indian War that shaped the military leadership of both George Washington and Francis Marion.

The Night the Past Came Alive

As daylight fades, history shines brighter. Experience the unforgettable Night of Lights, where torch-lit cannon fire, musket volleys, a colonial bonfire, and traditional songs create one of the festival's most memorable evenings.

Look to the Skies

Watch history soar during the thrilling WWII Warbird Flyover, honoring the courage and sacrifice of the Greatest Generation.
