Performing songs from the golden age of American classic rock – 1966 to 1980 – an era that encompassed the hippy movement and the Vietnam War, singer-songwriters, southern rock and the beginnings of stadium rock acts. During a 2+ hour show, with videos and slideshows, The American Classic Rock Show will take you back to a less complicated time, playing songs that defined an era and a generation.The show also features a female lead singer on such classics as Proud Mary (Tina Turner), I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll (Joan Jett), White Rabbit (The Jefferson Airplane), Barracuda (Heart), Mercedes Benz (Janis Joplin), Desperado (Linda Ronstadt/Eagles) and Because The Night (Patti Smith).
