The night begins with a glamorous reception and passed hors d’oeuvres, followed by a meticulously crafted four-course tasting menu showcasing each chef’s artistry.
Upstairs, discover a hidden speakeasy experience—accessed by password only—where the cocktails flow and the 1920s come alive.

Meet the Chefs
Jacob Moeller – Executive Chef, The American
A Culinary Institute of America alum and veteran of Kansas City’s top kitchens (Rye, Gordon Ramsay Steak, bluestem), Chef Moeller brings bold creativity and deep roots to The American. This is his homecoming—having once served here as Chef de Tournant—and now leads the Concept Series with refined technique and Midwestern soul.
Jacob Hilbert – Executive Chef, Stock Hill Grill
Born in South Carolina, Chef Hilbert has spent over 30 years in kitchens across the country. Known for his thoughtful, seasonal cooking, he reimagines the American steakhouse with local ingredients and a strong sense of place.
Vince Brink – Executive Chef | Restaurant Developer
A self-taught chef with a passion for travel and flavor, Vince brings an engineer’s precision to his plates. With experience at top spots like Corvino Supper Club and Dunbrody House in Ireland, his cuisine defies expectations—layered, expressive, and beautifully composed.
