SPECIAL NOTE: We're honored to host writer/director Nicholas Gyeney and star Kane Hodder for an in person Q&A at the Friday, December 13, 2024 4pm screening.

LOCATION: The Secret Movie Club Theater, 1917 Bay Street, 2nd Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90021

PARKING: Please note our entrance is NOT on Bay Street. You access our entrance from Wilson Street by turning into the street art alleyway/corridor in the back of the building. Look for our signs which guide you to parking. Audience can park for free in corridor in any space that doesn’t have a street sign or door/stairs/gate. Free parking is also available on Wilson and Bay Streets.

Secret Movie Club is honored to host Nicholas Gyeney’s movie THE ACTIVATED MAN starring Tony Todd (rest in peace) in one of his last starring roles this week in our four o clock screening spot. AND, we’re excited to have Gyeney and star Kane Hodder for an in-person Q&A after the 1st 4pm screening on Friday, December 13, 2024.

Gyeney, like so many current moviemakers, is working 24/7 to see his vision from production to theatrical distribution. And Secret Movie Club is here to be a part of supporting moviemakers and the theatrical experience.

As Ors Gabriel struggles with the grief and pain from losing his best friend and beloved dog, Louie, to cancer, the shock from the trauma brings on strange visions only Ors can see. While he questions whether his mind has fractured or if it's actually real, a mysterious rise in M**der-suicides takes hold of the city, and Ors becomes haunted by images of a shadowy figure known to many as ‘The Fedora Man’. Through torments and terror, Ors uncovers dark secrets from his past, forcing him to embrace who he really is, and what he is meant to do. But, with escalating visions of ‘The Fedora Man’, Ors must face his fears as he spirals downwards, testing the very limits of his sanity.

So come join us to see a singular vision and meet the moviemakers (if you come to the 12/13/24 4p screening) who made it happen.

REFUND POLICY: We can refund ticket purchases up to 24 hours prior to the screening time. Refund requests made within the 24 hour window can be honored as transfers to future screenings of any similarly priced event/screening.

HELPFUL SECRET MOVIE CLUB (1917 Bay Street, 2nd Floor, LA, CA 90021) THEATER PARKING TIPS:

We recommend that you park just outside our theater. Remember our theater is actually in a beautiful street art alleyway in the back of the 1917 Bay Street building. You get to our entrance by taking a right on Wilson, then a right behind the building. We are the first set of black steps on the right after the big gate.

There is also a parking lot at the corner of Mateo and Violet Street, just 2 blocks from our theater, which costs $7 per car.
