I call what I do "Artisan Draftsmanship" and it’s key to how I ended up recovering a letterpress shop and applying what I call "The Post-Synthetic Concept". I learned it by asking questions about weird tools I have found, discovering the connections between geometry and composition, and reading forgotten material about a dead trade.
