On Halloween night, the ballroom doors will open.
Music will fill the room. Candles will flicker throughout the hall. Fantasy characters will move among the crowd. Gowns, armor, suits, crowns, wings, and dark-academia fashion will transform the space into a world that normally exists only between the pages of a book.
Welcome to The Academy Fantasy Book Ball Weekend, an immersive celebration created for fantasy readers, romantasy lovers, cosplayers, book clubs, and anyone who has ever wished they could step inside a magical world.
The Fantasy Book Ball
Spend Halloween night surrounded by fellow fantasy lovers while you dance, take photographs, explore immersive installations, meet characters, visit faction spaces, and experience an evening filled with magic and surprises.
Your night includes:
🕯 A fully transformed fantasy ballroom
🎶 DJ, dancing, and Ballroom Enchantments
🍽 Heavy hors d’oeuvres and dessert
🍸 Signature alcoholic and nonalcoholic elixirs available throughout the evening
📸 Immersive photo installations and fantasy backdrops
🎭 Professors, characters, and interactive moments
🐉 Dedicated faction spaces and competitions
✨ Surprises hidden throughout the ballroom
Formal attire is encouraged, but there is no single correct way to dress. Wear a gown, suit, robes, armor, cosplay, dark-academia fashion, cocktail attire, or whatever makes you feel as though you belong inside the story.
The Adventure Before the Ball
Before the ballroom doors open, you will spend Saturday exploring a magical academy built around choice, creativity, and immersive play.
You will be placed into one of four original factions:
🐉 Skyforge
🔥 Emberbound
🦄 Mysticdawn
🧚 Veilkeepers
You will receive your faction token, meet other members of your faction, complete challenges, earn points, explore the Academy Market, and select four immersive experiences from the Academy catalog.
These are not traditional classes. You will not be sitting through lectures, taking notes, or completing homework. Every experience is designed to be interactive and unique.
You might create something, learn a physical skill, transform your appearance, practice a ballroom sequence, explore fantasy lore, or participate in a challenge alongside other guests.

Premium experiences require an additional reservation and have limited capacity.
Sunday Send-Off
Return Sunday morning for a final shared breakfast, the announcement of the winning faction, and a chance to say farewell to the friends and characters you encountered throughout your weekend.
No Homework. No Required Reading.
You do not need to know every featured fantasy world.
You do not need to cosplay.
You do not need to attend with a group.
You do not need to perform or remain “in character.”
You only need to love the feeling of opening a book and wishing its world were real.
