Authors Dr. Carolyn B. Helsel and Dr. Yvette Joy Harris-Smith will discuss their book, "The ABCs of Diversity," a guide for parents to help their kids become champions of diversity. Helsel and Harris-Smith will give tips from the initial processing of anxiety and fear of not getting it right, to how to organize and network in order to raise diversity awareness in your family and community. Opportunity for Q&A will follow the 45-minute presentation. For parents, teachers, and caregivers.
