The ABAS Gala

On behalf of the Asian/Pacific Bar Association of Sacramento (ABAS), we invite you to the 2026 ABAS Gala on the evening of Thursday, September 24, 2026. This year’s Gala will be at the California Museum, 1020 O Street, in Downtown Sacramento. We look forward to hosting our marquee event at a place that celebrates the rich history and tapestry of our Golden State.

The theme of this year’s Gala is Branching Out: Our Community in the Forefront of Leadership and Public Service. We are excited to present our distinguished speakers, namely Governor Gavin Newsom’s Cabinet Secretary Nani Coloretti, the 10th Assembly District (South Sacramento and Elk Grove) Assemblymember Stephanie Nguyen, and the Magistrate Judge Chi Soo Kim of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California.

At the Gala, we will also celebrate and honor the ABAS and ABAS Law Foundation scholarship and community service awardees.

Our Gala should not be missed! We will feature an evening of elegant Filipino cuisine and lively musical entertainment showcased by the local Sacramento band, Azucal.
