Sign up for The Nick Mowers 5K Run/Walk! Whether it is your 1st or 15th 5K you are going to have a great time at this race! We have been honoring Nick for eight years by having an awesome time running and partying for the day. We will be running on Saturday April 20, 2024 at 9am. We will have a race and an awards celebration/after party at South Jersey hottest new place The Shipyard! There will be beer, food, music, a basket auction, and music. For those of you who don't know this is a memorial to my friend who passed very suddenly of a brain aneurysm on June 25, 2013. Nick graduated from PMHS and was a Middle School Art teacher, College Art Professor, and Metal Smith in Wilmington, NC. He loved music, his dogs, anything outdoors, and was an all around great guy. My friends and I are all still kind of in shock that he is gone and want to do something to keep his memory alive. It is a shame he was taken from this world so soon. If you are in the area and have some time to knock out a 3.1 route please join us on April 20th. All proceeds go to the Nick Mowers Memorial Scholarship and the funding of the Nick Mowers Memorial Dog Park.
Race Day Registration and packet pick-up starts at 7:30am
Out & Back course through the scenic Riverview beach park starting and finishing at the Riverview Inn Parking lot, mixed surface course (Dirt & Road).
Trophies will be awarded to the top male and female overall finishers.
Medallions will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the following categories:
14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 +
*no duplicate awards will be given*

•T-shirts to participants while supplies last
•Post Race Party and Awards Ceremony with drinks, music, food, and basket auction at The Shipyard!
•ONE BEER OR SODA AND FOOD ITEM PER RUNNER (BEER FOR RUNNERS 21 AND OVER)
