The 8th Annual Kansas City People's Choice Awards is a premier black-tie event dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the achievements of exceptional professionals, entrepreneurs, youth, businesses and organizations that continue to inspire and strengthen the Kansas City community.
Hosted by Cherayla, with special guest hosts Monique Shurray, JR Hoodstar and Crystal Franklin. This prestigious evening brings together community leaders, business professionals, entrepreneurs, artists and supporters for a night of recognition, entertainment and celebration.
The festivities begin with the Black Carpet Pre-Show at 4:00pm, featuring live interviews, professional photography, special performances and opportunities to connect with some of Kansas City's most influential leaders, creators and changemakers.
The official awards ceremony begins at 6:30pm, honoring individuals and organizations whose leadership, service, innovation and impact have helped shape the Kansas City community.
Guests will enjoy an exciting lineup of live entertainment, including performances by Eleven 2wenty2, gospel artists Tobbi & Tommi, hip-hop artists Rodreako and D Locc Da Chop and a special showcase featuring the finalists from the Best Female Hip Hop category: Miss G, Queen Royalty, Roblo, Sundae The Gwoat and Gene$i$ Moriah. The evening will also feature appearances by the KCK Diamond Dolls and a special performance by Brandoshis.
Throughout the night, DJ Yani Baby will provide the soundtrack for an unforgettable experience filled with inspiration, excellence and community pride. Beverages, including spirits, will be available for purchase.
