About this Event
Are you ready to transform your teaching practice and authentically embed First Nations perspectives into your classroom?
Join us for this two-day face-to-face professional development workshop on the 8 Ways Aboriginal Pedagogy Framework, held at the iconic Australian Museum in Sydney.
Over two days, you’ll move from building a deep understanding of the 8 Ways to applying it in practical, culturally grounded ways. On Day 2, you’ll take part in a guided First Nations-led tour of Garrigarrang: Sea Country, the Museum’s permanent exhibition celebrating the knowledge and cultures of Salt Water People. This lived experience will become the foundation for planning classroom activities and units of work through the 8 Ways Framework.
Whether you’re new to the framework or ready to deepen your practice, this training will equip you with the tools, cultural insights, and confidence to create classrooms that are culturally rich, inclusive, and connected to Country.
