The 63rd Annual Lake Takanassee Summer Series

Welcome to the 63nd Annual LAKE TAKANASSEE SUMMER SERIES (Est. 1964 by Shore AC). This is a local classic and one of our oldest running events. There will be five events starting on Monday July 6 and will go through Monday August 3, 2026. Event Highlights: Awards to the top three overall finishers in the 5k run & racewalk series. Weekly ribbons to top ten boys and girls in the Kids 1500M run. Weekly random prize give-a-ways after the Kids 1500M run. But wait there’s more! All Lake Takanassee participants and spectators get 10% off at Kahuna Burger in Pier Village after the race. Each week the top three male and female finishers in the 5K run and racewalk will get a $20 off coupon to McLoone's Restaurants. NOTE: New Discounted Season Ticket Pricing Option for the 5K ($40+fee) and 1500M Kid's Run ($20+fee). Online Registration is available up until race time and HIGHLY recommended. NEW For Kids Races: The cost is a flat $10 for manual signups and paying cash at the table (a $5 surcharge). The 2-Mile Race on 8/3 is $10 for all participants.
