Step into the fascinating world of model railways at Victoria’s biggest model train event. With something for everyone, from intricate layouts to hands-on activities and it’s the perfect day out for families, hobbyists and train lovers of all ages.
Event Highlights:
Operating layouts in all scales and prototypes
Trade stands from major manufacturers to cottage industry specialists, with models, tools, kits and more
Huge second-hand stalll, Kids’ U-Drive, railway heritage displays and organisations and more!

$20 flat rate – Children under 16 enter free when accompanied by an adult

Getting There:
Easy public transport access from the CBD by train, tram or bus.
By Train:
Take a Frankston, Pakenham or Cranbourne line train from the CBD to Caulfield Station. From the station it is a short walk to Caulfield Racecourse and the exhibition entrance.
By Tram:
Route 3 (Melbourne University – East Malvern) or Route 64 (Melbourne University – East Brighton). Get off at Stop 56 – Caulfield Racecourse / Waverley Road, then walk to the venue.
By Bus:
Several bus routes stop near Caulfield Station and Caulfield Racecourse.
By Car:
Free on-street parking available around the venue.
