The year is 1976... the doors to the Anacostia Skating Pavilion have just opened, disco is taking over the airwaves, roller skating is the hottest thing in the city, and EVERYBODY is dressed to impress! 🌼✨

Now, 50 years later, we're bringing those vibes BACK! Join us as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Anacostia Skating Pavilion by turning the clock back to opening day in the 1970s! 🛼🎉

Throughout the night we'll be forming the BIGGEST ROLL TRAIN of the year, giving everyone a chance to show off their smoothest moves just like the iconic Soul Train TV show! So start practicing those dance moves, spins, footwork, and style because when it's your turn to roll down the line... ALL EYES WILL BE ON YOU! 🔥🎶
