Knoxville-based songwriter, poet, and actor, RB Morris is incorporating theater and spoken-word into his current ensemble of musicians, which includes cello player, Cecilia Wright, multi-instrumentalist, Greg Horne, and percussionist extraordinaire, Hunter Deacon.
Having recently performed at the Big Ears Festival, RB has been described as a “cross between a rural Tom Waits and an urban Woody Guthrie”. A renowned songwriter, recording artist, and mesmerizing performer, his songs have been recorded by John Prine and Marianne Faithfull. He was named the Poet Laureate of The Sphere Conference, International Letterpress Convention held at the Knoxville Convention Center in 2015. In 2016, Morris was awarded Knoxville’s first official Poet Laureate by Mayor Madeline Rogero and the Arts and Culture Alliance of Greater Knoxville.
He has released seven full-length albums, including the newly released “Going Back To The Sky” (Singular Recordings) produced by Bo Ramsey.

A self-described “tree-hugger who watches NASCAR,” Grant Peeples is known for his axe-sharp socio-political tunes, raucous humor and heart-gigging ballads. He is currently touring in support of his latest release, “A Murder of Songs."
Grant tours coast-to-coast and is a repeat performer at The Woody Guthrie Festival, the Moccasin Creek Festival, the 30A Songwriters Festival, Word of South Festival of Literature & Music, and The Florida Folk Festival among others. In June 2023, he made his debut at the prestigious Kerrville Folk Festival. Following his second European tour, FolkForum.nl described him as “…a pure storyteller, in the best American folk tradition…” and his show “…one of those gems that you will remember for a long time…”
