The 5:15’s St. Leonards Hospice Fundraiser

St. Leonards Hospice in York holds a very special place in the hearts of thousands of people.
Our dear friend Nick Ward-Smith was cared for there. The Hospice arranged for Nick’s mates to ride to the Hospice and park up so that Nick could see the scooters and his mates. Steve Ruane was there that day and can tell you what a special moment it was.
Even closer to home both Steves in the band had their Mums cared for by St Leonards Hospice. It is impossible to measure or describe the compassion and care St Leonards gave Liz Lee and Marj Ruane.
St. Leonards Hospice relies wholly on charitable funding. Because of this The 5:15`s have decided its time they raised some funds for St. Leonard’s!
So, on July 31 The Crescent, in York will host The 5:15`s St. Leonards fundraiser.
Doors will open at 7:00. The show will start with DJ Tall Paul. He will play everything to get you up from Phili, Northern, Ska, Mod and Tamla.
The first live band will be Bam Bam. A fantastic new band from York melding Ska, Blues and a massive bag of eccentricity. These guys are not to be missed.
Later in the evening The 5:15`s will take to the stage with some special guests. They aren’t too shabby either!
