See more then a dozen tethered glowing hot air balloons along a mile stretch of runway.
Gates open Saturday & Sunday at 2:00 PM
The Balloons will inflate twice daily weather permitting! Times TBA
Come early bring a picnic blanket or lawn chair, and spend your day enjoying our tether balloon rides, small carnival midway, games, food trucks, craft vendors, helicopter rides, monster truck rides and much more!
Tethered rides will begin daily as weather permits, once we begin, they will continue until the line is finished daily or weather prohibits safe operation.
- Concessions available including Island Noodles, Cotton Candy, Funnel Cake, French Fries, Cheesesteaks, donuts, Ice cream treats, and MORE!
- Monster truck rides,Carnival rides, games, and food on site!
- Craft & Vendor Fair beginning at 2:00 PM Saturday & Sunday

GENERAL ADMISSION PARKING
General Admission parking will be at The Northern Lehigh school District 1 Bulldog Ln, Slatington, PA 18080.
FREE SHUTTLE BUS STOPS include The Northern Lehigh Middle School, Northern Lehigh High School, And The Slatington Elementary School.
Residential on street parking will also be available.
Our FREE SHUTTLE BUSSES run daily Friday-Sunday during all festival hours!!
PER LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING ON RT 873, OR AT THE AIRPORT, ALL VIOLATORS WILL BE TOWED AT THE OWNER'S EXPENSE.
A Limited number of handicap spaces will be accommodated on festival grounds for only those with a wheelchair or mobility assist and a valid parking tag, We ask if you do not require a wheelchair or scooter you park in GA Handicap spaces and ride the shuttle to the festival.
We are very excited to announce that The Spooktacular Balloon Festival is back in the Lehigh Valley for 2022. This will be our 2nd year of the festival. The festival will be held Saturday October 15, and Sunday October 16 2022!

We suggest purchasing your tickets in advance online + eventbrites convenience fee, However tickets can be purchased CASH at the gate on the day of your visit. Carnival ride wristbands, tickets, games, and tether rides in the balloons available at an additional cost.
Tethered balloon rides offered, weather permitting, for $20.00 per person. Take a short up and down in a hot air balloon. Appropriate for all ages.

Join us for a Fireworks show to remember by CELEBRATION fireworks, Saturday and Sunday evening beginning after the glow ends!

Refund Policy:
Reservations include eventbrite convenience fees. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. The event is rain or shine. Balloons may not inflate if weather conditions are not ideal - refunds will NOT be issued if balloons do not inflate. Please print and bring your tickets to receive hand stamp at entrance. In the event of weather related cancellations balloon rides can be rescheduled with Lehigh Valley Hot Air for a later date at 484-632-6815.
Cancellation Policy:
Event is rain or shine. ALL BALLOONS INFLATE AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF THE PILOT. Sometimes, due to impending weather, wind, or other conditions, balloons will inflate early, late or not at all. If Balloons do not inflate, we will still provide a candle stick fire display. Please plan to arrive roughly 30 minutes or more prior to the scheduled ticket time to ensure you see the balloons inflate and rise.
Up-to-the-minute info about inflation times, tethered rides, and any delays, will be available via Lehigh Valley Hot Air's Facebook and announced throughout the festival. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. In the event of weather related cancellations balloon rides can be rescheduled with Lehigh Valley Hot Air for a later date at 484-632-6815.
