About this Event

This year we celebrate life as Blake's 3 and 1/2 year chemotherapy treatment journey will come to and end on October 18th. Now more than ever, we want celebrate and give back.

This year, we have designated our funding to support the oncology department's recruitment of some of the top scientists and researchers across the globe to continue to develop new treatments and cures for pediatric cancer. Due to the continuous successful research developments, the oncology team at CHLA has cured Blake from leukemia and has saved his life and so many others like him.

The Blake is back with more fun and excitement than ever before!

The 2nd Annual The Blake 2021 will be jam packed with more fun, activities and excitement for all ages. This is no ordinary golf event. We are turning up the fun this year with Live Entertainment by Kelley James, a Kids Zone with more activities, crafts and prizes. Leave those golf clubs at home, we've got you covered. The Golf Play will be a coordinated 9-hole shotgun start with games and challenges at every hole. Our silent auction includes gifts, beauty service, sporting and travel packages and much much more. We will have food trucks, so come hungry. Beer and wine will be available for attendees 21 and over.

GETTING HERE and PARKING:

  • Lyft or Uber - We strongly encourage ride share
  • MEMBERS of Manhattan Country Club; we suggest parking at the club lot and walking over
  • Paid Parking is available at the hotel

Drop off location: The Golf Shack

Located behind the hotel. No parking just drop off. Take the access road located between Manhattan Country Club parking lot and the west side of the main hotel entrance.

HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS

Please keep in mind their will not be babysitters on-site and each parent is expecting to watch their kids and keep them within the designated Kid Zone and Golf Play Areas. Proper shoes required. Flat shoes or sneakers are recommended. No high heels or strollers will be allowed on the course. To maintain the integrity of the course and avoid damage we ask that you keep off the putting greens. Play areas will be designated throughout the event area.

COVID-19 Safety:

In accordance with current LA County guidelines for outdoor events, current Covid-19 protocols in place, including, but not limited to:

•We have hand sanitizing products placed throughout the venue

•Masks will be provided to those who need, but do not have with them

•High touch surfaces are being sanitized throughout the day

•We are NOT a mega event

Additional COVID-19 Safety Measures:

•All food vendors who are serving or making food are required to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status

*The health and safety of our visitors, employees, vendors, and volunteers is our number #1 priority. All attendees are to practice social distancing when needed and be mindful of best hygiene practices.

Our COVID rules and protocols will evolve to follow local, State, and CDC guidance. Currently, our policy is:

Avoid overcrowding small unventilated areas throughout the venue, especially near/in bathrooms

  • Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds and sanitize as often as possible
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unclean hands
  • Use hand sanitizer as often as appropriate
  • Please practice social distancing

Stay home and away from others if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: – Cough– Fever or Chills– Runny Nose– Shortness of Breath– Difficulties Breathing– Dizziness– Fatigue– Muscle or Body Aches– Headache– Sore Throat– Nausea or Vomiting– Diarrhea– Loss of Taste or Smell

By purchasing a ticket you agree that prior to entry, you will not enter the venue if you have exhibited any of the above symptoms within 72 hours, have knowingly been exposed to COVID-19, or have received a positive COVID-19 test within the last 14 days. By purchasing a ticket and entering this event, you acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that you may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and or death.   • Tickets will NOT be sold on site.
  • 24/7 video surveillance on-site.
  • There are strictly no cancellations or refunds 24hrs before the event, and tickets are not transferable. Should the Event be cancelled by the Event, all ticket holders will receive a refund.
