The Catch-22 Resource Venue is the 1st public resource fair of its kind in the Chicago Proper area for adults with intellectual, developmental, & mental health disabilities. The purpose of this resource fair is to provide various essential community resources specific to adults with disabilities in one setting, since many resources become minimal for adults with disabilities starting at age 18 & when special education entitlements end at age 22. Adults with disabilities & parents, guardians, caregivers, family, & friends of adults with disabilities are highly encouraged to attend. Parents & guardians of individuals with disabilities who are middle or high school age are also encouraged to attend to prepare for transitioning & aging out of the special education system. Our sponsors for this event are 19th Ward Alderman Matt O'Shea's office, Al's Cookie Mixx, & The Arc of IL.
