Join us for the annual 24 Hour Event, where artists across Jackson County dive headfirst into a creative marathon—painting, sculpting, stitching, welding, carving, and crafting nonstop for 24 hours straight. It’s a celebration of process over polish, grit over glamour, and the beautiful chaos that fuels artistic breakthroughs.
From the moment the clock strikes 6:34pm on Saturday, The Venue at Art 634 come alive. The public is invited to drop in anytime—day or night—to watch the magic unfold, chat with artists about their work-in-progress, offer encouragement, and witness the raw momentum of creation in real time.
At the end of the 24 hours, artists will hang their freshly made pieces—finished or not—in The Galleries at Art 634, where they’ll remain on display and available for purchase through September 28th.
This isn’t just an art show. It’s a creative sprint, a communal push, and a reminder that sometimes the best work happens when a deadline looms. As artists have flashbacks to college all-nighters, some will revel in the momentum of the night while others may flounder; but together artists will seize the opportunity as traditions continue, and memories are made.
