The Ruck of Remembrance is a challenging but welcoming event created to honor those who have served, remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and show our military service members and first responders that WE HAVE THEIR BACKS.
This is NOT a race! Experienced rucker? Great. Never rucked before? Grab a comfortable backpack, add some weight, and join us. Want to simply walk the course in remembrance of someone? You're welcome too.

💙 RUCK FOR A REASON
This is also a fundraising event benefiting Folds of Honor Iowa, providing educational scholarships to spouses and children of fallen and disabled military service members and first responders.
Last year, 46 Iowans received Folds of Honor scholarships—but 28 more qualified Iowa applicants went unfunded.
Every dollar matters. If 300 participants each raise just $100, that's $30,000 in educational impact for deserving families!
🏅 Raise $150+ and receive an exclusive 2026 Ruck of Remembrance Challenge Coin.
We'll also have fundraising prizes, finisher patches, optional event shirts, and our Signs of Remembrance honoring fallen heroes along the course.
