About this Event

Please join us for the fourth lecture of our annual lecture series, a forum to amplify and encourage greater civic participation in critical discussions. Chuck Hagel, the 24th U.S. Secretary of Defense, and keynote guest William Burns, CIA Director (2013-2017), will discuss challenges facing American national security and U.S. foreign policy.

The discussion will be moderated by Prof. Robert Pape, Director of the Chicago Project on Security and Threats (CPOST), and will be followed by a Q&A session from the audience.

Doors open at 4:30pm; Lecture begins at 5pm
