The FIFTH Annual Woodcellar "Fall FUNK-Quinox" is finally upon us - and we are SOOOOO VERY EXCITED!
Soooo...prepare to get funked-up! The 5th Annual Fall Funk-Quinox promises to be one of our best funk line-ups ever!
The 'Allstars' are a select troupe of A-list of Denver based touring musicians that have graced the stages at Red Rocks and innumerable other music venues across the country. On Sept 19th, they will descend on the Woodcellar with their special brand of funk-titude...and WE CANNOT WAIT!
BIO:
Damon Wood - 'Harmonious Junk was formed in Las Vegas, in 2001, as a side project for Damon Wood, then touring guitarist with the Godfather of Soul, James Brown. Traveling the world with JB's Soul Generals since summer ‘99, Wood wanted a band to write and perform with when not on the road with the "Hardest Working Man in Show Business". Twenty-three years later, he's still going strong with a new lineup, new songs, and a fresh approach to composing. Damon’s bio includes five year stints with National Touring Acts, Jimmie Van Zant Band (1991-1995) and WhiteWater Ramble (2014-2019), as well as several international tours with The JB's (2017-2019). Topping the list is seven years and four hundred shows with the “Hardest Working Man in Show Business” (1999-2006). Wood's Harmonious Junk has over 1,000 shows and three albums of original material under their belt, with a fourth album now on the scene!'

According the the Westword “He can switch personalities almost on cue to create a new sound and feel behind a drum kit.
