🌟 Get Ready for the 11th Aussie Bird Count! 🌟 Save the date and invite your friends – the 2024 Aussie Bird Count is back from October 14‒20, and we can’t wait to have you join us! 🐦💚
This is your chance to be part of Australia’s biggest citizen science event, and it's perfect for everyone, from experienced birdwatchers to total beginners! All you need to do is:
1. Register as a counter at aussiebirdcount.org.au
2. Download the Aussie Bird Count app

3. Pick a spot — your backyard, local park, or favorite outdoor space (you can even count from home!)
4. Enter your location in the app and start counting the birds you see in just 20 minutes. If you’re unsure about the species, our in-app bird finder is here to help!
5. Submit your count using the app or web form
