The 15th Annual Morven Gazpacho in the Garden

Come celebrate our 15th anniversary of Gazpacho in the Garden!
Celebrate the new semester at Morven Sustainability Lab (MSL) as we mark 15 years of this beloved tradition. Enjoy a summer meal harvested from the kitchen garden and prepared by UVA Dine and experience the UVA student-conceived and initiated kitchen garden. Learn about how to participate in Morven activities from gardening and student days to coursework and research. Enjoy family-friendly live music, lawn games, educational garden tours, kids' activities including face painting, bubbles, and a craft activity, and a raffle table featuring dozens of items donated from our local sponsors. Raffle tickets are available online or can be paid for with cash at Gazpacho in the Garden. Thistlerock Mead Truck will be on site doing beverage sales, bring you ID if you'd like to try their delicious mead.
Please bring picnic blankets and chairs as there will be limited seating available. For those who need a ride, we will be providing shuttle transportation from UVA Grounds near O'Hill at 4:30PM at a first come, first serve basis. There will be two shuttles at the pickup. This is an outdoor event on a working farm – dress accordingly and don't forget to wear your walking shoes!
By visiting Morven or participating in programs or events, visitors grant permission for any photographs of them to be used for educational and promotional purposes.
*Driving directions: From Monticello Ave in Charlottesville, make your way toward VA 20 South, follow signs for Monticello and turn left onto Thomas Jefferson Parkway. After about 3 miles, turn right onto James Monroe Parkway, following signs for Monroe Highland. In about 2.5 miles, turn right where you see a sign for Morven. Stop and check in with security at the gatehouse. Once inside the gate, follow signs for gazpacho in the garden.
