The $1,000 Sing-Off - Fall 2024

PLEASE CHECK THE DATE CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASING. SINGERS SHOULD NOT PURCHASE THEIR TICKET UNTIL THEY HAVE SUBMITTED VIA EMAIL AND RECEIVED A PERFORMANCE DATE CONFIRMATION.

The Thousand Dollar Sing-Off is Chicago’s newest talent contest, produced by Davenport’s Piano Bar and Cabaret. The Sing-Off will consist of several individual weeks of competition, and each will focus on a different genre:

• Disney: September 4th/11th/18th
• Accompany Yourself: October 9th
• Opera & Art Songs: October 23rd
• Halloween, Comedy, & Novelty Songs: October 30th
  

Each week, three judges will award a $1000 first prize, $500 second prize, and a $250 third prize. These competitions will take place in the back room of Davenport’s, all beginning at 8:00pm. The competition is hosted by Daryl Nitz & Andrew Blendermann, with a combination of four judges.

Admission is $10 for both audience members and participants. Singers will receive a voucher for one drink. All other audience are encouraged to purchase drinks with their servers.
