Hailing from Indiana, Jearlyn Steele grew up singing with her siblings Billy, JD, Jevetta, and Fred in The Steele Children. Then one by one, the family moved to Minnesota. Here, these talented siblings often sing together.
Charismatic, smart, funny and heartfelt are just a few adjectives used to describe Jearlyn. Additionally, she always leaves an audience wanting more, whether she is singing, speaking or emceeing. Furthermore, Jearlyn performs from South America to Europe as a member of the internationally acclaimed family, The Steeles.
For over a decade, Jearlyn has been an Entertainment Reporter for Twin Cities Public Television’s award-winning political show “Almanac”. Here, she interviews local, national and international acts. Her CBS Sunday night radio show is Steele Talkin’ on WCCO Radio 830AM. With it, she brings joy to thirty states and most of Canada. Further, the show has aired for more than two decades.
Fred Steele‘s voice is heard on countless voiceovers and vocal advertisements for companies including Levi’s and Wilson’s Leather. Also, his inspirational Gospel CDs for Compass and Lifescapes are a top selling series in the United States. Further, his voice is also featured on recordings with Prince, Mavis Staples, George Clinton, and many others.
