The City of Aiken Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Department will host Thanksgiving Story Time on Tuesday, November 9 at 4:00 PM on the Rye Patch lawn, located at 100 Berrie Road.
Children ages 8 and under can come to enjoy Thanksgiving-themed stories read by one of our favorite local story tellers, Patrice Johnson. Every family in attendance will receive a free book to take home to encourage a lifelong love of reading. Complimentary snacks will be available. An adult must accompany all children.
This event is free and open to the public. Our Thanksgiving Story Time would not be possible without the support of our fantastic sponsors: Aiken Electric Cooperative, Inc. and Aiken McDonalds.
In the case of inclement weather, this event will be moved to the H.O. Weeks Activities Center, 1700 Whiskey Road, Aiken, South Carolina. Please call the City of Aiken Rain Out Hotline at 803-643-4661. You can also check the City Channel 4 on Atlantic Broadband, the City of Aiken website, City of Aiken PRT social media accounts, or download the City of Aiken Explorer app for instant notification of any changes. You will need to sign up and enable notifications.
For more information about this event, please call 803-642-7631 or 803-643-2161.
