Our annual Thanksgiving lunch at Norman High School is just around the corner! 🍁🦃🍽🥧🏈 This event is FREE for everyone, but we need VOLUNTEERS and DONATIONS to make it possible! 🤗✨🤩
🙋 Volunteers who wish to serve can sign up on our website. We encourage people to sign up ahead of time, as it is challenging to manage volunteers who do not pre-register. 🙌
🎁 Donations can be dropped off at 201 Reed Avenue in Norman from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. daily. Turkeys, eggs, butter, poultry seasoning, celery, and vegetable oil are all needed. 🦃🥧🍂
Our Thanksgiving meal includes turkey, dressing, potatoes, green beans, and dessert. For those who are at home and need a hot meal delivered, Food and Shelter delivers to those served by Meals on Wheels but is prepared to add as many individuals as necessary to ensure seniors and people with disabilities get to celebrate Thanksgiving.
