7pm Wednesday Night: Come transform the Sanctuary into a Welcoming Place: move tables and chairs, decorate tables, prepare the craft tables for making ornaments, writing cards, playing games.Thursday, November 27th
Noon: Doors open. Come early if you’d like to cook at the UUCG kitchen, play outside, write Yule/Christmas/Hannukah/Kwanza cards, do arts and crafts to decorate the UUCG Winter Tree, or just hang out.
4pm: Dinner is served!! Sunset is at 5:28pm. So, we are having dinner a little earlier to accommodate those who can't drive at night. If you need transportation to and from dinner, let us know and we will organize this service.
Please clean up after yourselves or even better, serve your community by cleaning up after those who can’t help.
5:30pm: Return the Sanctuary back to Sunday Morning ready by moving chairs and tables
6pm: Gratitude Sumbel: We will have 3 rounds of gratitude sharing. Bring poetry, song, or a few sentences for each gratitude. You don’t have to share. You can just listen and appreciate others offerings.
Gratitude to the Ancestors or Deities or Teachers, living or dead, who have/are co-creating your life.
Gratitude to your community, your neighborhood, your club, etc.
Gratitude to yourself. How have you grown or what have you overcome this year? What have you accomplished that makes you proud of yourself?
