About this Event

The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum (NLBM)proudly invites you to join us as we celebrate John "Buck" O'Neil's milestone accomplishment of National Baseball Hall of Fame induction. Join baseball and other sports legends for an amazing evening of food, drinks, and music in celebration of his career. Proceeds benefit the the NLBM and the completion of the Buck O'Neil Education and Research Center. The evening will be capped by a funky and raucous concert by The Original Lakeside! Join us as celebrate Buck’s “Fantastic Voyage!”

O'Neil dedicated over 70 years of his illustrious life to the beautiful game of baseball as a player, manager, scout, coach, and co-founder of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. It all helped him become the sports greatest ambassador. But, it was his amazing spirit as a human being that endeared him to legions of fans worldwide. And now, Buck is finally where he belongs--in the National Baseball Hall of Fame--16 years after missing by one vote!

Tentatively scheduled special guests include former MLB All-Stars Kenny Lofton and Joe Carter, former MLB manager Bo Porter, former World Series MVP, Dave Stewart, Hall of Fame inductees Lee Smith and Ferguson Jenkins, MLBPA Executive Director Tony Clark, and award winning baseball writer Joe Posnanski.

The "SINGLE" ticket package ($250.00) includes admission for one to a cocktail reception and dinner (starting at 6:00 pm at the museum), then the 8:00 pm program at the Gem Theater.

The "General Admission" package ($75.00) includes admission for one to the 8:00 pm Gem Theater program an two ticket vouchers for cocktails at the theater.
