Community service to Camp Rhonda and surrounding camps. We will supply food, drinks, and etc; weekly
Camp Rhonda is a homeless encampment that was named after one of the residents that lived there. She passed away in 2021. It used to be at a central location, but after sweeps by the City of Dallas, it became scattered to several locations. On Thursdays we have either morning service between 10:30a-1pm or afternoon service 4:30-6:30pm. We go to the camps and provide lunch, and clothes, shoes, hygiene, sleeping bags, firewood, tents and etc.
Starting point is 2700 Gould St in South Dallas. Then we will finish in the parking lot across from Dallas Public Library, 1515 Young Street, Dallas, Texas 75201.
