About The Show : Thank You for Your Visit is a contemporary dance performance that invites audiences to deeply connect with the nuances of collective grief, memory and shared human experience, fostering an inclusive and evocative exploration of loss and connection. The performance is inclusive - with integrated, poetic audio description. Performed by two dancers and one audio describer the piece is meant to be experienced by non-sighted and sighted audiences together. The audience, seated in a circle, becomes part of the experience. They participate in small tactile tasks. It is a subtle invitation to blend private sorrow with communal expression. Through minimalist sets, tactile props and ambient soundscapes, the piece examines loss, memory and ongoing global crises. What does it mean to exist together? How has the pandemic, the wars around us, the many disasters happening globally affected us all? We invite you to this experience. About the Performers: Damini and Maitreyee are collaborators, colleagues and friends whose work bridges the worlds of dance, theatre and accessibility. With a shared passion for storytelling and social impact, their practice combines movement and emotion to create performances that challenge norms and invite dialogue.
