Thai Vegan Family Style Feast

Sharing some of what i learned in my recent trip to Thailand, studying in the kitchen with an amazing Vegan Thai chef in her restaurant as well as exploring the incredible food and culture of ths amazing country.

For tonight's family style feast the menu will be:

Vegetable Tempura with Chef Pon's special sauce

Vegetarian Shark Fins Soup (an umami bomb of dried and fresh mushrooms)

Green Papaya Salad

Banana Blossom Salad

Massaman curry with potato, pumpkin, peanut and tofu

Stir Fried Morning Glory Leaves

Pad Kee Mao

Tempeh Kra Pao (with homemade fava bean tempeh)

rice

dessert coconut cake with mango ice cream (Cashew base)
