About this Event
TGN Salons: Music Edition with Classically Social
On Saturday, 2 May 2026, The Graduate Network and Classically Social invite you to an evening that moves between live classical piano, a panel discussion on music and the future of creativity, curated conversations, and the kind of night where you leave with new ideas and new people.
THE QUESTION
We're told art is irreplaceable. AI is testing that claim in real time. What do we actually think — and are we brave enough to follow that answer wherever it leads?
THE EVENING
An evening designed to be as inspiring as it is unforgettable built around the values at the heart of The Graduate Network: real connection, lifelong growth, and big ideas that shape the future.
6:00 pm: Arrive & mingle. Get a drink, meet the room.
6:50 pm: Live Piano Set I. Seated. Let the music land.
7:15 pm: Structured Social. We'll help make introductions, TGN style.
8:00 pm: Panel Discussion. Music, creativity, and AI.
8:30 pm: Post-panel social. The conversation continues.
9:00 pm: Piano Set II. One more set to close the night.
9:30 pm: Open social. Linger as long as you like.
DRESS CODE: Smart casual — wear whatever makes you feel confident and camera-ready.
WHO YOU’LL MEET
Expect to meet graduate students, alumni, professionals, creatives, and entrepreneurs from across industries and universities — alongside classical music enthusiasts and performers. Past events have welcomed guests from LBS, Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, KCL, INSEAD, Imperial, IESE, Royal College of Art, Harvard, Columbia, HEC Paris, and more.
Some will become collaborators. Some will become friends. Some you'll just have one really good conversation with and remember for a while. All of that counts.
PANEL GUESTS & PIANIST
- Andy Lomas — Computational artist, mathematician and Emmy Award winning supervisor of visual effects. Visiting Research Fellow at Goldsmiths, University of London. Work exhibited at the V&A, Pompidou Centre and Royal Society.
