https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/tfeh/t-rpopnqxFruitmarket have invited TFEH to curate an evening of performances responding to, and celebrating their love of, the work of Barry Le Va, to coincide with their 'In A State Of Flux' retrospective exhibition this November, so we proudly present the unkempt avant-thoughts of KAREN CONSTANCE, DYLAN NYOUKIS, HEXAKAIDECAGON & OFF BRAND...
CONSTANCE / NYOUKIS.
A LOVE EVER LASTING: Since leaving Scotland in the mid-90s, the long standing matrimonial collaboration between The Artists Formerly Known As Blood Stereo has successfully raised and nurtured their discography of detritus (spanning from no-fidelity tape blurt Noise to a West Lothian brogued Sound Poetry to head sctaching Aktionism to a New Music sans egoism), the Blighted Isle's most consistently interesting experimental music label (Chocolate Monk), Brighton's long running international festival of all things OUT (Colour Out Of Space) and a flesh & blood embodiment of their mission (Big Elk fae The Mum Squad). Tonight they give their thoughts on the work of Le Va ("...we can respond to axes in walls no bother.") and invite youse to follow 'em down the aisle as they renew their vows to keep things wrong in the No Audience Underground.
HEXAKAIDECAGON.
A LONG DISTANCE LOVE: Fritz Welch is leaving on a jet plane, but has sealed a missive with a slobbery kiss to the babe that he's left behind. When David Moré wipes the tears from his eyes then he'll find a perfumed mid-winter valentine lying on his desk which contains instructions on how to present an adaptation of Basque anarcho/minimalist Esther Ferrer’s 2018 reworking of her late 60’s performance action “Tracks, Spaces, Sounds”. In tender moments, Fritz calls David "Benicio Del Trainwreck". Please join us and find out why.

OFF BRAND.
A FORBIDDEN LOVE: Firas Khnaisser & Ali Roberston have been making eyes at each other across the Free Improvisation dancefloor since 2019, hooking up for one-on-one Instant Compositions behind the bushes of Lochend Park since 2020 and hosting TFEH love-ins since 2021, but only since Usurper's twenty year marriage finally ended last year has their onstage romance blossomed into the kind of unbridled public display that we hope Barry Le va might have encouraged an audience to engage with.
