TFA DRAFTS & DESIGNS: Cyanotype Workshop
$30 | $22.50 | Workshop starts at 1:30 pm | Sunday, May 24th
Learn about the cyanotype process and experiment by using found objects, natural materials, and Tulsa-inspired blueprint images to create your own sun prints. This hands-on workshop invites you to explore one of the earliest photographic techniques while creating bold, blue-toned compositions that blend art, design, and a touch of local inspiration.
Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned creative, you’ll enjoy a relaxed, social atmosphere as you design and print your own unique pieces. Complimentary beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks are included with the ticket price, so you can sip and create at your own pace.
All supplies are included—just bring your curiosity and creativity!

Tickets for this workshop are $30 for not-yet members and $22.50 for members.
PARKING:
TFA has a dedicated parking lot off of 7th you are able park in for free. Street parking downtown is also free on weekends.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR:
Evan Kathryn Johnson is a Tulsa-born and self-taught artist that believes that everyone is a creative. For over a decade, Evan has worked throughout the Tulsa community—both professionally and personally—to share hands-on artmaking and imaginative projects with people of all ages. Through process-based learning, she creates a welcoming space to experiment, play and bring ideas to life. Evan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northeastern State University and years of experience working with Tulsa art and social service organizations.
