Pragya Goel will be demonstrating how to make textured art using modeling paste. She will be using various palette knives and tools to make patterns on the canvas.
Pragya Goel is a San Jose–based artist and software engineer with a Master’s degree in Computer Science. While she builds structured digital systems professionally, her artistic practice explores texture, emotion, and intuition. Working primarily with modeling paste and palette knives, Pragya creates tactile abstract compositions that invite viewers to slow down and connect through feeling rather than narrative. Through layered surfaces, simplicity, and subtle movement, she explores emotion, intuition, and tactile expression. Her process focuses on building depth through texture, allowing the physical surface of the work to become part of the visual language.
Pragya’s work invites viewers to slow down, look closely, and experience the quiet presence of texture. Through Embossed Impressions, she continues to develop a body of work that reflects exploration, simplicity, and personal expression.
