Did you know Americans alone send 10 million tons of clothing to the dump each year?Donate your UNWEARABLE textiles so they can be recycled into new products.
TO DATE WE HAVE SAVED 7571LBS OF TEXTILES FROM LANDFILL with the help of Green Tree Textiles.
RECYCLE THE FOLLOWING: clothing, footwear, belts, ties, purses, pillows, bedding, table linens, drapes, stuffed animals.
Items can be in the following condition: moth-eaten, faded, torn, stained, as long as CLEAN & DRY.
PLEASE, NO carpets, rugs, oil rags, & no wet or mildewed items.
If you cannot make the event Uptown Consignment of Hamden has been generous enough to take early drop offs. Please bring your donation to the consignment bar at the back of the store. All early donations must arrive before close on June 11th.
