Textiles: The History and Methods Behind Fiber Based Arts

Join the Brush Square Museums staff for an exciting dive into the art of textiles! This workshop is designed for participants of all ages, and will explore both the historical significance and the practical aspects of textile production from knitting to weaving. There will also be opportunities for hands-on learning.

The 2025 Festival will bring together amazing innovators, community leaders, and community members to celebrate the growing culture of learning in our region! Parking information: There is limited street parking, but many parking garages are located near the museum. The nearest paid parking garage is at the Austin Convention Center Parking Garage located at 601 E 5th Street. The MetroRail also stops directly alongside Brush Square Park, adjacent to the museum
