About this Event
Welcome to the Textiles + Sustainability Course! Join us at the Headquarters Library for an exciting in-person event where you'll learn all about sustainable practices in the textile industry. Discover how to make environmentally conscious choices when it comes to textile.
In these FREE hands-on textile workshop, students will explore the intersection of design, sustainability, and community engagement. Through various textile techniques, they will create unique pieces while learning about sustainable materials, upcycling, and repurposing.
To ensure a personalized and hands-on learning experience, we're capping the workshop enrollment at 15 students.
This intimate setting allows for:
- Direct instructor feedback and guidance
- Meaningful interactions with fellow students
- Ample opportunities for questions and discussions
"Semester Style" Course:
This workshop is designed to be a comprehensive, multi-session course, similar to a college semester. Over the course of 5 weeks, we'll delve into various topics, techniques, and projects, building upon previous sessions.
