At SMS Novel, our goal is to bring people together to create Christian movies and films that inspire and point people to their need for Jesus.

This group is for actors that want to take part in our crowd-funded Christian movie for Amazon Prime. The movie is called, Text Da Plug and will be shot on location in DC. We are seeking actors who are willing to work and contribute to a Christian faith-based project.

It's Saturday night and girls just wanna have fun. When high school friends Tonya and Rochelle, visit their best friend Keisha, in Washington, DC, they plan on having the best weekend of their lives. But when Tonya decides to take the fun to the next level, she asks around to find out who has “Molly” the popular party drug. She is given the number of Damien aka “Da Plug” D.C.'s top molly dealer. But when one of the girls overdoses, they realize that the person behind the phone number is much more than a drug dealer. The girls must realize that faith is the only way to save themselves and destroy Damien once and for all.

This film is designed to show the spiritual danger of fentanyl overdose and the power of Christ to overcome it.

CHARACTER LIST: Tonya - A high school friend of Keisha and Rochelle who wants to have the time of her life during their visit to Washington, D.C.

Rochelle - A high school friend of Keisha and Tonya who is excited to join in on the fun but soon learns of the dangers of partying.

Keisha - The best friend of Tonya and Rochelle who lives in Washington, D.C. and is familiar with the party scene in the area.

Damien aka "Da Plug" - The top molly dealer in Washington, D.C. who is known for being dangerous and unpredictable.

Pastor Johnson - A local pastor who tries to guide the girls towards a more positive and faith-based lifestyle.

Officer Thompson - The police officer who responds to the overdose and tries to investigate Damien's involvement in the situation.

Rachel - A young girl who is struggling with addiction and serves as a cautionary tale for the dangers of drug use.

Kevin - Damien's right-hand man who helps him run his drug operation in the city.

Mrs. Jackson - Tonya's mother who is worried about her daughter's trip to D.C. and tries to warn her about the dangers of drug use.

Marcus - A former drug dealer who has turned his life around and now runs a local community center that helps young people stay away from drugs and crime.
