A fun look at North Texas weather, water, conservation, and how Fort Worth shapes our local environment.
About this Event

Join Tarrant Regional Water District Biologist Heather Bass for a lively look at the environment right here in North Texas.

Heather will connect the dots between weather, water conservation, watersheds, gardens, and the everyday choices that shape our local landscape. You will learn how rain, drought, heat, and changing weather patterns affect the water we use, the plants we grow, and the natural spaces around us.

This session brings big environmental ideas down to earth, with real-world insight into what is happening in our own backyard. From watersheds to garden sheds, Heather will show how our little corner of Fort Worth plays a much larger role in the health of the region.

Come ready to learn, ask questions, and leave with a better understanding of how North Texas weather and water work together.
