Texas Tough!
Celebrating the tough spirit of Texians past & present, surrounding the day we won our independence at San Jacinto!
Every year we make the party bigger and better... and you won't believe what we have in store for you now!
Texas Tough started off as a dinner in someone's backyard. Later it got more formal with bigger-name speakers, fancier clothes, and a nicer venue. Then we added fireworks, cannons, and a DJ for dancing. Next came live music. Then we added free dance lessons in advance! This year we're adding an after party that includes the live music and dancing PLUS a quickdraw shooting contest, cards, and dominoes. There's something for everyone! And guess what... we haven't raised our prices in any significant way. So join us for our night of celebration!
Here’s what we we've cooked up….
Our keynote speaker is actor Kevin Sorbo! He will entertain us with stories and anecdotes of his experience as a conservative in liberal Hollywood.
MC’d by Representative Nate Schatzline, Texas House District 93
Live music throughout the evening
An elegant, plated dinner; cash bar
Fun & fellowship with True Texans
FIREWORKS - because how do you celebrate independence without those?!?
And of course, we'll shoot off replicas of the Twin Sisters cannons that won the war for us. You may even win a chance to fire a cannon yourself!
As if that's not enough -- stay for the after party: SCOOT, SHOOT & SHUFFLE! Live music & dancing continues to 11pm, plus a quick-draw contest, cards, dominoes, and great conversation with the best patriots on the planet. Truly something for everyone.
Sorbo has become a prominent Conservative voice in the media, using his platform to advocate for Christian values, free speech, and traditional Conservative ideals. While many folks may know him for his role as Hercules, Sorbo has recently starred in and produced films like "God’s Not Dead" and "Let There Be Light", which promote themes of religious freedom and moral integrity. Sorbo is a vocal critic of Hollywood’s bias against Conservatives, having been subjected to it himself, as the self-proclaimed "original cancel culture guy". His activism has made him a key influencer in Conservative circles, where he continues to shape cultural and political discourse through his social media platforms and appearances such as on Fox News, Right Side Broadcasting Network, and as a featured speaker at CPAC 2022.
