Rick McNeely with Fishbowl Radio Network will be judging and getting footage for the show! Fishbowl is the oldest and biggest internet radio station in the state of #TEXAS! With over 3 million monthly listeners, we are blessed to have them in our network!
Kristen Rachelle represents Born & Bred Radio Show & The Outlaw Television Network. Another resident judge! She does so much for independent artists, and we are honored to have some #OKLAHOMA radio representation for our event!
Chaser Crouch Music is on FIRE! The locals LOVE him and you will too!!
Mojo Brothers Band is pumping up the heat for the awards celebration!! We've been waiting to hear this one LIVE!!!
UncleRyano Saurus is a LEGEND!!!! www.uncleryano.com go see for yourself!! - He's coming back and self-funding his appearance to give back to the MUSIC SCENE!!
He co-wrote and performed the title track COWBOY UP. His music has been heard on NCIS, Grey's Anatomy, & The Kardashians to name a few! He will be performing and filming a portion of his documentary at midnight! To kick off the awards celebration!

Bad Boy Leroy joined us last year and won 3rd place! He's been plugging in ALL YEAR (we don't chase people) and went from 8k followers to over 20k this year! We are so proud of the way he used his titles as tools and really worked his craft! We invited him back to give you a musical experience and help us announce the winners!We love this one so much we let him stuff us in a van WITH HIS BAND and haul us to #STURGIS!!!! You're going to LOVE HIM TOO!

Texas State Songwriters Championship is an event hosted by the TSSA- Texas State Songwriters Association. The Association is an artist development organization.
We believe in the power of music! If we didn't have music in our cars, imagine the road rage! If our entertainment is struggling, our world is struggling! We are here to be the option, so our artists don't have to struggle! We help artists with branding, getting websites, merch setup and more, at a discounted rate...and occasionally FREE!
We look forward to celebrating another great year of music and hope you join us!
Last round is at Horus Hall Friday Dec 20, 6-10pm. Tickets cover both days!
Finale is all day Saturday Dec 21 at Madam Pearls Saloon, in the famous downtown Fort Worth Stockyards (across the street from Horus Hall)

The rest of the day, starting at 1pm, our finalists will be battling it out for the Championship Title! Join us as we give you a sneak peek into the #texasmusicscene. We invite our songwriters up to TELL YOUR STORY! As they inform you on how long they have been performing, what inspired them, and what artists influenced their style. They will sing 2 original songs and tell you the stories behind them.
