Crafting Persuasion: Cross-Examination MasteryHands-on learning with seasoned attorneys and psychodramatists
Join us for a powerful weekend at the HBCU Texas Southern University in Houston, TX to focus on the art of Cross-Examination. Co-leaders will be Monique Sparks, Founder of the Sparks Law Firm in Houston; Eric Davis, Trial Bureau Chief at the Office of Harris County Public Defenders; and Milton Grimes, Founder of the Grimes Law Office in Los Angeles and lead defender of Rodney King who was subject to one of the nation's worst cases of police brutality at the time. They will lead a powerful faculty team of TLC-trained trial lawyers, licensed psychodramatists Jody Anderson, Jason Hasko and Louise Lipman; and Courtroom Communications Expert Joshua Karton. Participants at this program will work on their own cases to learn how to apply the TLC Method of Cross Exam by using some of the psychodrama methods that will help you to examine the motivations and forces that compel the witness’ testimony, often giving ourselves the rare opportunity to transform a witness against us into a witness for us.
